Digital Publishing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Publishing Manager to join our team at adidas. As a key member of our global marketing team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging content and advertising experiences across owned and paid social channels, as well as partner channels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Publishing Strategy: Plan, coordinate, and execute the publishing strategy across owned, paid social, and partner channels according to the global brand and category calendars.
- Local Content Production: Plan, coordinate, and execute local content production to land relevant stories in Central Europe.
- Platform Management: Manage social platforms and other external partners to drive the publishing strategy, and brand and category calendars.
- Bespoke Content Creation: Plan and execute bespoke publishing content creations for own and partner channels around campaign productions, brand events, or brand activations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Brand communications, categories, PR, key city, eCommerce, Membership, Categories, Sports Marketing, Culture Marketing) to create brand-relevant content pieces that matter for the consumer.
- Process Management: Manage seamless process from brief, creation to sign-off and publishing. Champion the need for authentic branded content that's relevant for the target group, true to the brand, insight-led, innovative, and that creates impact around key campaigns and sports culture moments.
- Media Planning and Execution: Work with media agency and comms responsible to deliver best-in-class media planning and execution and ensure that all campaigns and content are fully tagged and tracked to support measurement.
- Agency Partnerships: Partner closely with external agencies (partner agencies, creative agencies, creators) to deliver excellence content, community management, and creator experience.
- Brand adidas: EU/Global Newsrooms (inc. PR, Editorial and Content, Analytics & Partner Publishing)
- Brand adidas: Global/EU and local brand communication/activation + Marketing (inc. Media)
- Brand adidas: PR, Sports Marketing, and Culture Marketing
- Sales adidas: Global Key City teams, Digital Activation Team, Membership team, Customer Service & Data Analytics
- External Partners: Creative agencies, clubs/federations, athletes/partners media agency
- Strong Team Player: Proven experience in content creation and publishing for social
- Agency Management: Experience in managing and briefing agencies
- Project Management: Advanced project management skills
- Social Media Expertise: Advanced experience and continued curiosity with all major social media networks: Instagram, BeReal, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitch, etc.
- Publishing Mix: Keen understanding of the wider publishing mix: owned, earned, and paid
- Sport and Culture Knowledge: Detailed knowledge and passion for Sport & Culture as well as the entertainment industry
- Presentation and Organizational Skills: Advanced presentation and organizational skills
- Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills
- Education and Experience: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital, or a related field; 5+ years' industry and/or relevant work experience; competent in Microsoft packages
