The People Partner is essential in aligning Endava's human resources strategy with its business goals. Acting as the primary contact for all personnel matters, they serve as an advocate for employees, an expert in employee relations, a change catalyst, and a strategic advisor to the organization. With a profound understanding of the market within their designated unit, the People Partner effectively shapes and positions the unit for success by leveraging the potential of our workforce.

In this role, the People Partner drives the global human resources strategy for Endava's operations across multiple countries. This includes close collaboration with business leaders and managers to enhance workforce capabilities, develop talent management strategies, and create initiatives that advance shared organizational goals, ultimately resulting in measurable business outcomes. Additionally, the People Partner ensures compliance with legal regulations within their scope, working closely with other HR functions to maintain adherence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Advisory:

  • Advises the leadership team of the client group, aligning business strategy with the people agenda and transforming needs into actionable solutions and initiatives that contribute to achieving organizational objectives;
  • Provides consulting on organizational design, roles, and responsibilities to optimize performance and drive business results, which may involve restructuring teams or developing new job descriptions;
  • Partners with leadership to guide them through impactful changes as necessary;
  • Utilizes data, metrics, and analytics to identify trends and develop data-driven recommendations that drive organizational results, measuring the effectiveness of initiatives beyond the immediate client group.

Execution Focus:

  • Drives and guides core people processes across the client group (workforce planning, grades, salary review processes, performance management) ensuring alignment with regional processes;
  • Acts as an account manager, collaborating with the broader People team to deliver exceptional people solutions within set timelines and budgets;
  • Contributes to the capability growth plan for the client group, working with leaders to address skills gaps and career growth plans, driving a talent strategy focused on engagement and retention of top talent;
  • Mentors, coaches, and provides feedback to managers at all levels.

Employee Relations and Compliance:

  • Manages and resolves employee relations cases, including monitoring absence, capability, performance, disciplinary investigations, and mediating workplace conflicts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements;
  • Stays informed about local employment legislation and translates its impact on organizational processes to ensure regulatory compliance;
  • Contributes to the development, implementation, and communication of policies and procedures, providing guidance and interpretation on people policies;
  • Maintains relationships with local employee and union representatives, managing complex union or redundancy consultations as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field;
  • Experience in larger organizations is highly advantageous;
  • Several years of experience in global HR roles with demonstrated expertise in various HR areas including organizational development, talent and performance management, compensation and benefits, and international employee relations. M&A experience is preferred;
  • Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Germany, with familiarity in other European countries;
  • Significant international employment relations experience, including restructuring and post-M&A scenarios;
  • Progressive HR Business Partner experience supporting senior-level and executive leaders;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels;
  • Thorough understanding of global HR best practices, working in international teams and supporting client groups through change projects;
  • A problem-solving mindset with a commitment to delivering timely and thorough service with outstanding follow-up;
  • Proficient in applying data insights to decision-making, interpreting HR data, and deriving actionable recommendations;
  • A passion for innovative HR work and driving current topics forward;
  • Fluency in English and German; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
