Human Resources Team Leader

The Human Resources Team Leader is responsible for guiding and overseeing a dedicated group of professionals while collaborating with the Global Human Resource Business Partner network to foster a workplace culture that embraces transformation and enhances team performance. This role is pivotal in influencing managerial practices and organizational effectiveness to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of the employee lifecycle, including compensation, benefits, recognition, development, employee relations, compliance, and terminations.
  • Exhibit and promote effective leadership in communication with both on-site and remote teams, fostering engagement and supporting organizational success.
  • Design and implement strategies that improve service quality while being cost-effective for both Human Resources and the broader business.
  • Mentor managers and supervisors on performance management, professional development, and other critical areas.
  • Perform comprehensive leadership and management duties to ensure team performance aligns with business and personal objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and legislative requirements.
  • Develop and uphold Human Resources policies and practices that reflect Parexel's values and culture.
  • Analyze HR data at the country and cross-country levels to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Lead regional initiatives focused on process enhancement.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment, effectively navigating a matrix structure.
  • Act as a Change Agent, skilled in recommending and implementing change through effective communication and leadership.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit strong project management and organizational abilities, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Maintain a focus on processes and metrics while valuing the employee experience.
  • Show business acumen and the ability to influence senior leadership while fostering collaborative partnerships.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to organize and present data effectively to influence stakeholders.
  • Bring seven to ten years of experience in human resources.
  • Have one to five years of supervisory or management experience leading teams of two to ten employees.
  • Experience in a global organization is advantageous.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • A professional qualification or certification in Human Resources is a plus.
