Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for guiding and overseeing a team of HR professionals while collaborating with the Global Human Resource Business Partner network to foster a workplace culture that drives change and enhances team performance. This role plays a crucial part in influencing managerial and organizational effectiveness, aiming to achieve business outcomes for the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) or Function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of the employment lifecycle, including compensation, benefits, recognition, employee development, relations, compliance, and separations.
- Exhibit and promote effective leadership by communicating with both in-office and remote teams, enhancing engagement and supporting organizational success.
- Design and implement solutions that improve service quality within the HR team while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Provide coaching to managers and supervisors on performance management, development, and other critical areas.
- Oversee the full spectrum of responsibilities related to team leadership, management, and development to ensure performance aligns with business and personal objectives.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and legislative requirements.
- Develop and uphold HR policies and practices that reflect the values and culture of Parexel.
- Analyze HR data at the country and cross-country levels to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions for enhanced service quality and cost efficiency.
- Lead regional initiatives focused on process improvement.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and potentially ambiguous environment, effectively navigating a matrix structure.
- Act as a Change Agent, adept at recommending and implementing changes through effective communication and leadership.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibit strong project management and organizational capabilities, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Maintain a process-oriented and metrics-driven approach while keeping the employee experience in focus.
- Display business maturity and the ability to influence senior leadership while establishing collaborative partnerships.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to organize and present data to influence decision-making.
- Have seven to ten years of experience in human resources.
- Hold one to five years of supervisory or management experience leading teams of two to ten employees.
- Experience in a global organization is advantageous.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- A professional qualification or certification in Human Resources is a plus.
