About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT-Specialist (m/w/d) to join our team at JRS Rettetmaier France. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • First- and Second-Level Support: You will be the first point of contact for all software, hardware, network, and telephony issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Ticket Management: You will analyze and prioritize issues in our ticketing system (FreshService), ensuring that all incidents are properly documented and resolved in a timely manner.
  • IT Support Services: You will provide IT support to our employees, both on-site and remotely, using a variety of communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • IT Onboarding and Training: You will be responsible for onboarding new employees, providing training on IT systems and processes, and ensuring that all employees have the necessary skills to use our IT systems effectively.
  • IT Procurement and Inventory: You will assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Project Participation: You will participate in IT-related projects, working closely with other teams to ensure the successful implementation of new technologies and processes.
Requirements
  • Education: You must have completed an IT-related education program, such as a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: You must have at least 1 year of experience in IT support, with a strong understanding of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Skills: You must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language: You must be fluent in German and have a strong understanding of English.
