About This Role

As a 1st Level IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support to our clients. You'll be responsible for handling incoming service requests, resolving technical issues, and ensuring smooth operations within our IT infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient service processes at the first level of support.
  • Manage and track service requests using a dedicated ticketing system.
  • Ensure adherence to established ITIL frameworks and best practices.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with clients regarding service orders and updates.
  • Coordinate service requests across various departments to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assess incoming service requests for technical feasibility and structural requirements.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance our service delivery processes.

What We Look For

  • A completed technical vocational training program in information and telecommunications technology.
  • Practical experience providing IT support in a professional setting.
  • A strong understanding of current technologies and industry trends.
  • Experience designing and implementing IT processes, such as those outlined by ITIL.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like Helpdesk and ServiceNow.
  • Proven experience in customer communication and relationship management.
  • Knowledge of basic administrative tasks within IT operations.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, coupled with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Analytical thinking skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Fluency in German and good English language proficiency.
