Application Engineering Manager Carrier Networks, EMEA

Corning is seeking an experienced Application Engineering Manager to lead our Carrier Networks team in EMEA. As a technical expert, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of new innovations and providing extensive technical sales and engineering support to major customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of customer-facing Application Engineers who provide pre-sales and post-sales support to customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive adoption of new innovations and increase customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide technical input to key-account business reviews and facilitate field trials.
- Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure solution compatibility with Corning products.
- University diploma in a technical area such as Telecommunications or Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in the telecommunication business.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create and foster customer relationships.
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and driving organization change.
25-35% travel required, primarily within continental Europe, with occasional travel to other regions.
