Risk Management Program Leader

We are seeking an experienced Risk Program Manager to enhance our operations
The Risk Program Manager position focuses on overseeing various risk management initiatives, promoting effective risk reduction strategies, and nurturing a culture of risk awareness through an extensive training framework. You will work collaboratively with departments across Operations, Technology, Legal, and Public Policy to advance key projects. This role provides significant visibility and the chance to address complex challenges in a fast-paced environment across multiple regions.
Core responsibilities include:
- Leading the risk training initiatives for Surface Transportation, fostering a proactive risk-aware environment.
- Partnering with business units to identify and mitigate risks both in the immediate and long-term, while monitoring and reporting on risk management actions.
- Adopting a comprehensive perspective on issues, collaborating with global teams as needed.
- Creating controls to avert the recurrence of identified risks.
- Assessing new and emerging risks to gauge their potential effects.
- Establishing trust through meaningful relationships with essential stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in compliance program management, legal affairs, governance, auditing, risk prevention, or a related field.
- Proficiency in managing confidential information.
- Professional certification in auditing or similar credentials in risk or compliance.
- Familiarity with SQL and Excel.
- Experience in defining program specifications, utilizing data and metrics to drive enhancements.
