Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Risk Manager to enhance our focus on EU Surface Transportation. In this pivotal role, you will oversee various risk management initiatives to ensure effective risk mitigation across multiple business lines. Your leadership will be crucial in cultivating a robust risk culture through a comprehensive training program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Manage Risk Training: Lead the Risk training program tailored for Surface Transportation, promoting a culture that prioritizes risk awareness.
  • Collaborate with Business Units: Work closely with various teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring thorough tracking and reporting of risk management actions.
  • Holistic Issue Management: Take a comprehensive approach to risk issues, collaborating with global teams as needed.
  • Design Preventative Controls: Create and implement controls aimed at preventing the recurrence of identified risks.
  • Evaluate Emerging Risks: Assess new and evolving risks to understand their potential impact on operations.
  • Build Stakeholder Relationships: Establish trust and foster impactful relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or related fields.
  • Confidentiality Management: Experience in handling sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Credentials: Certification in auditing or similar qualifications in risk or compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Experience in defining program requirements and utilizing data and metrics to drive improvements.
