Risk Management Program Leader

We are seeking an experienced Risk Program Manager to enhance our operational framework.
The Risk Program Manager will oversee various risk management initiatives, ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies and promoting a culture of risk awareness through an extensive training curriculum. This role requires collaboration with diverse teams across Operations, Technology, Legal, and Public Policy to advance strategic initiatives. The position provides significant visibility and the chance to address complex challenges in a fast-paced environment across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the Risk training initiative for Surface Transportation, fostering a proactive risk-aware culture.
- Work closely with business units to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring thorough tracking and reporting of risk management actions.
- Adopt a comprehensive approach to problem-solving, collaborating with global teams as needed.
- Design and implement controls to avert the recurrence of identified risks.
- Assess new and emerging risks to evaluate their potential impact on operations.
- Establish trust and build impactful relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

The team encompasses various business sectors, with Ground Operations in Surface Transportation playing a crucial role in the overall network.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in compliance program management, legal affairs, governance, auditing, risk management, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Professional auditing certification or similar credentials in risk or compliance.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Experience in defining program requirements and utilizing data and metrics to drive enhancements.
