Currently, betapharm operates under the umbrella of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd, a global leader in the generics sector.

Responsibilities of the Role
  • As a Contract & Alliance Manager, you will oversee existing agreements, negotiate terms, durations, and optimal pricing, while drafting new contracts in collaboration with the legal team.
  • You will assess the advantages of changing contract manufacturers, packers, or batch sizes, negotiate new agreements, and manage product transitions.
  • Working alongside our Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Quality teams, you will ensure a dependable product supply, negotiate claims with suppliers for delays or quality issues, and enforce compliance.
  • In partnership with Regulatory Affairs, SCM, Quality, Marketing, and Finance, you will play a crucial role in enhancing product profitability, identifying unprofitable items, and facilitating their withdrawal from the portfolio.
  • For health insurance tenders, you will draft and coordinate commitment letters for participating manufacturers, negotiate special pricing, and ensure adherence to requirements from contract manufacturers and in-licensing partners.
  • Regarding license fees and compensation calculations, you will collaborate closely with Controlling to secure reimbursements from negotiated special prices and pursue claims for breaches of contract when necessary.

We seek a passionate, dedicated, and forward-thinking individual who possesses:

  • Extensive experience in an international setting, particularly in procurement or supplier alliance management within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • A strong blend of strategic, operational, and negotiation capabilities, with the ability to adapt and make decisive choices in a fast-paced environment while managing risks effectively.
  • Proficient IT skills and familiarity with planning and forecasting software.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities in English, with proficiency in German being an advantage.
