HR Business Partner for Manufacturing Operations

We are seeking an HR Business Partner (m/w/d) to support our manufacturing facility in Hemer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to the management team:
    • Oversee the workforce in production as well as technical and administrative staff at the Hemer site
    • Facilitate recruitment, employee development, and advancement initiatives, address employment law matters, and conduct BEM discussions
  • Collaborate effectively with managers, employees, and works councils as a valued HR team member
  • Assist HR management with local and broader works council matters
  • Engage in HR projects, including initiatives that span multiple locations

Qualifications:

  • Degree in human resources or labor law preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources
  • Strong background in works council collaboration
  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor law, works constitution, and contract law, particularly regarding collective agreements in the Metall/NRW sector
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential due to the international scope of the role
  • Demonstrated resilience, customer-focused approach, strong communication skills, and professional demeanor
  • Proficient in Office applications; familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus, and experience with SAP/HR or SuccessFactors is advantageous
  • Fluency in German is required
