HR Business Partner for Manufacturing Operations

We are seeking an HR Business Partner (m/f/d) to support our manufacturing operations in Hemer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to the management team:
    • Oversee the workforce in production as well as technical and administrative staff at the Hemer facility
    • Facilitate recruitment, employee development, and advancement initiatives, manage employment law matters, and conduct discussions related to employee reintegration
  • Collaborate effectively with managers, employees, and labor representatives as a trusted HR team member
  • Assist HR leadership with local and broader labor relations issues
  • Engage in HR initiatives, including cross-site projects

Qualifications:

  • Degree in human resources, labor law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources
  • Proven experience with labor relations
  • Strong understanding of labor, works council, and contract law, particularly in relation to collective agreements in the metal industry in NRW
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is essential due to the international scope of the role
  • High resilience, customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset, with strong communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Proficient in Office applications; familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus, experience with SAP/HR and/or SuccessFactors is advantageous
  • Fluency in German is required
