Position Title: Sales Manager

Overview

Mackinnon Bruce International is partnering with a prominent player in the distribution sector to recruit a Sales Manager specializing in Pharmaceutical Ingredients. This role is remote and focuses on the DACH region, encompassing Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

Our client is a renowned global supplier of consumer services, catering to diverse sectors including Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverages, Consumer Goods, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational sales and business development for raw materials within the biopharmaceutical sector across the DACH region.
  • Identify and mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities with clients.
  • Ensure the highest level of service is maintained for all customers.
  • Proactively manage stock levels to minimize disruptions to customer sales.

Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc or equivalent professional qualification in pharmaceutical, chemical, or a related life sciences discipline.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards within the pharmaceutical industry (ISO, GMP, etc.).
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in sales or account management within healthcare, biopharma, or related fields.
  • Fluency in both German and English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% within the DACH region.
