- Creating comprehensive business plans to facilitate informed decision-making and effective execution.
- Engaging proactively with internal departments, prospective clients, and external collaborators.
- Translating innovative business concepts into actionable strategies within business units, aiding in the formulation of marketing and sales strategies for new offerings.
Your Profile
- Exceptional academic credentials in business management, science, or engineering, ideally complemented by a PhD, or a technical/natural science degree with a doctorate and supplementary business training demonstrating a solid business background.
- Robust business insight coupled with a profound understanding of technology.
- Extensive international experience in business development within a technology firm or a prestigious consultancy with a strong technological emphasis.
- Familiarity with Semiconductor and/or Microelectronics, including materials and supply chains.
- Proficient in converting technological advancements into viable business opportunities.
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong dedication to collaborative teamwork.
- In-depth experience in conducting, analyzing, and interpreting market research.
- Experience in tracking market trends and competitors, along with identifying necessary strategic actions.
- Awareness of technological trends relevant to SCHOTT and the ability to pinpoint innovative product concepts and business avenues.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating on international projects as part of cross-functional teams, with project management experience being advantageous.
- Fluent in business English (both written and spoken), with additional language skills and a willingness to travel internationally.
