About the Role:

LAPP Group is a leading global provider of cable and connection technology, with a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager - Supplier Development to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and develop suppliers according to VDA 6.3, APQP, and IATF-System requirements
  • Ensure manufacturability, machine capability, and process monitoring
  • Analyze and monitor measurement system capability (MSA) and calibration
  • Ensure contracted production and monitoring through Run-at-Rate
  • Analyze causes using the 8D method (ISHIKAWA) for customer and supplier complaints
  • Develop and implement concepts to optimize supplier quality
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Conduct FMEA sessions and track relevant measures
  • Collaborate closely with the Purchasing department on strategic and operational Q tasks
  • Support customer releases and in case of customer complaints

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a technical degree or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive experience in quality management, including Automotive Core Tools
  • Certified auditor in 2nd Party IATF, VDA 6.3, and QMB
  • Independent and responsible working style
  • Strong communication and team skills
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP, Office package, MiniTab, and BabTec FMEA module
  • Excellent English skills in writing and speaking
  • High international travel readiness
