Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Manager Software Professional to join our team at ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our customers' IT software systems.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for quality assurance to take on a challenging role in the context of software testing. As a Test Manager Software Professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Assuming QA responsibility for several sub-projects within a large software development project.
  • Controlling test activities preceding the commissioning of new or adapted software components.
  • Developing test strategies, creating test concepts, defining test methods and tools, test planning, coordinating test activities, and tracking defects.
  • Communicating at all levels, coaching, and mediating between all parties involved in delivery and testing.
  • Documenting activities and creating reports.
  • Project management, preparing reports, and proposing continuous improvement and "lessons learned" in the testing process.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A technical degree or at least 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
  • Certification in test management according to ISTQB Advanced Level.
  • Significant project experience in planning and quality assurance of large software projects.
  • Good knowledge of the release management process and software lifecycle management.
  • High-level communication skills, especially moderation and motivation skills.
  • An analytical and structured approach.
  • A very good command of written and spoken German (C2 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages).
