Overview of the Role:

As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for steering the Central European sales team, focusing on employee growth and recruitment. Your leadership will involve motivating, supporting, and coaching team members to achieve their best performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the sales team in alignment with the established Sales Strategy & Plan, monitoring key performance indicators such as revenue and DIT, and proactively initiating corrective actions when necessary. Engage with all relevant management stakeholders, both from the customer side and Nexperia, to identify and nurture new business opportunities across various timelines. Conduct thorough assessments to identify gaps in the portfolio and align findings with the Nexperia organization. Meet and exceed revenue objectives, including monitoring performance and implementing strategies to address any shortfalls. Foster demand generation within the Central European region, acting as the Regional Sales Manager for key customers and distribution branches. Formulate and implement global business strategies to pinpoint current and future opportunities for Nexperia. Customize Nexperia's Value Propositions to ensure that our offerings are the preferred choice for customers, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor. Navigate both formal and informal hierarchies to identify decision-makers and develop effective relationship strategies to enhance Nexperia's market position. Advocate for customer needs within the organization, ensuring that priorities are aligned with strategic objectives. Collect and relay market and competitor insights to inform organizational strategies. Compile a comprehensive Customer Business Plan that clearly outlines expectations and requirements to achieve business targets. Maintain daily interactions with technical and commercial teams of customers, facilitating regular technical workshops.

Candidate Profile:

A university degree in electrical engineering or business studies, complemented by a strong technical background. At least 10 years of sales experience within the semiconductor or automotive sectors. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse and cross-functional team. Extensive experience in managing commodity businesses and promoting power-related products. A solid understanding of industrial applications, with additional knowledge in automotive and consumer segments being advantageous. An entrepreneurial mindset, results-driven, and focused on key accounts as well as mass market opportunities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both German and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. A collaborative team player with a proactive approach. Willingness to travel frequently as required.
