Lead Software Engineer for Crypto Market Data

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our market data team at Blocksize Capital GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our market data infrastructure, ensuring the highest standards of data quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data processing systems for real-time and historical crypto market data.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and Websocket endpoints for data ingestion and distribution.
  • Lead a team of software engineers in the market data team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and services.
  • Implement robust monitoring and outlier detection methodologies to ensure data quality and integrity.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong programming skills in Golang or other strongly typed languages.
  • Experience with microservice architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Basic understanding of Postgres or MySQL.
  • Good understanding of Git and Jira workflows.
  • Computer science fundamentals and systems design.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
