Head of Retail Expansion and Growth

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our retail expansion and growth efforts in Italy. As the Head of Retail Expansion and Growth, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to drive our expansion in the Italian market.
Key Responsibilities- Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market analyses to gain insights and develop strategic recommendations for action.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail.
- Partnership Development: Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships in Italy, negotiating contracts and agreements to build long-term and successful collaborations.
- Expansion Process Management: Monitor and control the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation.
- Reporting and Communication: Regularly report to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, and expansion in the FMCG or food sector with market-specific knowledge of the Italian food culture.
- Education: Degree in business administration, management, finance, or law from a top university.
- Language Skills: Excellent English and relevant additional language skills, with German language skills being a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and developing teams, especially in fast-growing environments.
- Business Acumen: In-depth knowledge of conducting market analyses and developing strategic recommendations for action.
- Communication Skills: Confident presentation skills at all hierarchical levels and strong negotiating skills.
