Head of Retail Expansion Strategist

About the Role
KoRo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our retail expansion efforts in the Nordic countries. As the Head of Retail Expansion Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive expansion strategy that drives growth and increases our market share in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market analyses to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategic recommendations for action.
- Develop and implement a holistic expansion strategy that includes market entry, sales growth, and partnership development.
- Lead and manage a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail.
- Work closely with the Sales Leadership Team and the Vertical Lead to develop and implement the overall offline retail strategy.
- Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships domestically and internationally.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with retail partners to build long-term and successful collaborations.
- Monitor and control the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation.
- Regularly report to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, or expansion in the FMCG or food sector, with market-specific knowledge of the Nordic countries.
- Degree in business administration, management, finance, or law from a top university.
- Excellent English language skills and relevant additional language skills, with German language skills being a plus.
- Experience in leading and developing teams, especially in fast-growing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of conducting market analyses and developing strategic recommendations for action.
- Strong negotiating skills, good communication skills, and enthusiasm for the food market.
- Proactive and goal-oriented work style, with the ability to work under pressure and successfully implement complex projects.
- Professional appearance and drive, with a hands-on mentality.
