Executive Assistant to General Manager

About Amazon Gattendorf GmbH:
We are a pioneering force in the industry, constantly pushing the limits of what is possible since our inception. We are currently in search of a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to the General Manager, who will play a vital role in our Fulfillment Centers.
Role Overview:
In this pivotal position, you will engage in a diverse range of daily interactions and be responsible for coordinating employee engagement initiatives across the site while managing the associated budget effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute onsite employee engagement activities, including competitions and celebrations, while overseeing budgets and timelines throughout the year.
- Develop event plans tailored to the site's requirements, create promotional materials, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement site projects.
- Oversee communication channels within the Fulfillment Center, including newsletters and message boards, ensuring effective dissemination of information.
- Act as the site Charity Champion, managing the charity budget and collaborating with central teams to support local initiatives and donations.
- Facilitate the recognition programs for associates, encouraging participation from the leadership team and staff.
- Manage the leadership team's travel arrangements and administrative tasks, including diary management and meeting follow-ups.
- Work closely with support staff to ensure robust resources for various projects and initiatives.
- Welcome and coordinate visitors on behalf of the General Manager and leadership team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the responsibilities outlined above.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple assignments while serving as a point of contact for a large team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- High proficiency in English and German.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a large-scale, fast-paced, process-driven environment.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
