Your Role:

As a Procurement Specialist/Manager Network Procurement Germany, you will lead purchasing, price, and contract negotiations independently for the Telefónica network area. This includes 5G core equipment, servers, transport equipment, software, installation, and maintenance. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies in close collaboration with the technical department and global buyers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead purchasing, price, and contract negotiations for the Telefónica network area.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies in collaboration with the technical department and global buyers.
  • Create concepts, decision templates, and presentations for management.
  • Work closely with technical, financial, and legal departments.
  • Manage suppliers and stakeholders for your categories.
  • Create tenders with the global purchasing platform (GEP SMART) and monitor contract in-life management (SAP).

Your Skills:

  • Hold a degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Experience in procurement is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Have a structured, solution-oriented way of working.
  • Be highly interested in technical details.
  • Have negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with technicians and suppliers.
  • Have excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Speak, write, and understand both English and German fluently. Spanish is an advantage.
  • Have a medium to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

About Us:

Telefónica Global Services GmbH (TGS) is the Procurement Organization for Telefónica, situated in Ismaning, close to Munich. Our local team is responsible for the Telefónica operation in Germany in close relationship to the global Procurement team responsible for Europe and Latin America.
