About Telefónica Global Services GmbH:
Located in Ismaning, near Munich, Telefónica Global Services GmbH (TGS) serves as the procurement hub for Telefónica, employing 120 professionals. TGS oversees all global procurement initiatives for Telefónica, with our local team focusing on operations in Germany while collaborating closely with the European and Latin American procurement teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement process, including pricing and contract negotiations for the Telefónica network sector, encompassing areas such as 5G core equipment, servers, transport systems, software, installation, and maintenance.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies in partnership with the technical department and global procurement teams.
- Create comprehensive concepts, decision-making templates, and presentations for management review.
- Collaborate effectively with technical, financial, and legal departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Manage supplier relationships and stakeholder engagement within your designated categories.
- Utilize the global purchasing platform (GEP SMART) to create tenders and oversee contract management (SAP).
Your Qualifications:
- Hold a degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline. Previous experience in procurement is advantageous but not essential.
- Exhibit a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in technical aspects of procurement.
- Possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to foster effective relationships with technical teams and suppliers.
- Showcase excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Fluency in both English and German is required; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Have intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
