About the Role:
Telefónica Global Services GmbH (TGS) serves as the Procurement Organization for Telefónica, located in Ismaning, near Munich. Our team, consisting of 120 professionals, oversees all procurement activities globally, with a focus on the German operations in collaboration with our European and Latin American teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead Negotiations: Independently manage purchasing, pricing, and contract negotiations for the telecommunications network sector, including 5G core equipment, servers, transport systems, software, installation, and maintenance.
- Develop Sourcing Strategies: Collaborate closely with technical departments and global buyers to create and implement effective sourcing strategies.
- Create Management Presentations: Prepare concepts, decision-making templates, and presentations for senior management.
- Supplier and Stakeholder Management: Oversee supplier relationships and stakeholder engagement within your designated categories.
- Contract Management: Utilize the global purchasing platform (GEP SMART) to create tenders and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle (SAP).
Your Qualifications:
- A degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required; experience in procurement is beneficial but not essential.
- A structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
- A strong interest in technical details.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to foster effective relationships with technical teams and suppliers.
- Outstanding communication and coordination abilities.
- Fluency in both English and German is essential; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate to advanced level.
