Network Procurement Specialist

About Telefónica Global Services GmbH:
Located in Ismaning, our Procurement Organization, known as TGS, is pivotal in managing all procurement activities for Telefónica. Our local team collaborates closely with the global procurement unit, focusing on operations in Germany while maintaining strong ties with our European and Latin American counterparts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Negotiations: Independently manage purchasing, pricing, and contract negotiations within the Telefónica network sector, including areas such as 5G core equipment, servers, transport systems, software, installation, and maintenance.
- Sourcing Strategy Development: Collaborate with technical departments and global buyers to create and implement effective sourcing strategies.
- Management Presentations: Develop concepts, decision-making templates, and presentations for executive management.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with technical, financial, and legal teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Supplier and Stakeholder Management: Oversee supplier relationships and manage stakeholders within your designated categories.
- Tender Creation: Utilize the global purchasing platform (GEP SMART) to create tenders and oversee the management of contracts through SAP.
Qualifications:
- A degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required. Experience in procurement is advantageous but not essential.
- Possess a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in technical aspects of procurement.
- Exhibit negotiation skills and the ability to foster effective relationships with technical teams and suppliers.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential.
- Fluency in both English and German is required; Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is necessary.
