Marketplace Consultant Job Description

As a Marketplace Consultant at Amazon Deutschland Services GmbH, you will work with a diverse portfolio of sellers, providing strategic guidance and support to help them achieve their business goals on the Amazon Marketplace.

Your role will involve managing multiple sellers, conducting business analyses, offering tailored advice, assisting with implementation, building strong relationships, coaching sellers, and more.

This is an opportunity to contribute to seller growth and satisfaction while developing your career at Amazon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Seller Portfolio Management: Develop individual strategies, manage timelines, and be the central point of contact for sellers.
  • Business Analysis: Provide informed recommendations and actionable insights through data analysis.
  • Consultation: Utilize Amazon knowledge to guide sellers towards opportunities and assess potential impacts.
  • Implementation Support: Help sellers implement strategic plans and address challenges.
  • Relationship Building: Gain trust and deliver results with each seller in your portfolio.
  • Seller Coaching: Keep sellers informed about Amazon's solutions and selling updates.
  • Business Reviews: Prepare detailed performance analyses and engage in strategic planning with sellers.
  • Expertise Development: Take ownership of specific topics to support colleagues and develop processes/tools.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in German and English.
  • Education: Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience: Experience in areas such as sales, business development, digital retail/E-Commerce, marketing, or supply chain management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge in strategy development and customer interaction at a leadership level.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to multitask, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and present effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Passion: Passion for enhancing customer experiences and translating needs into business requirements.
