Shopper Marketing Manager (d/f/m)

Essity is a prominent global hygiene and healthcare enterprise dedicated to enhancing the quality of life through superior hygiene and healthcare solutions. We are currently seeking a Shopper Marketing Manager for our Consumer Goods Business Unit in the Central Region to bolster our team.

In this role, you will oversee the shopper strategy and planning, manage shopper campaigns and activations, handle promotion and point-of-sale management, and facilitate shopper and customer communication for your designated brands, such as Tempo, Zewa, TENA, or Demak'Up, within the D-A-CH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You will serve as a liaison between Marketing and Sales, representing your function in cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform brand strategies into shopper strategies and develop national and customer-specific activation plans grounded in shopper and customer insights, including budget and KPI establishment.
  • Create and oversee promotion and point-of-sale guidelines, ensuring exceptional execution.
  • Design national and customer-specific Shopper Marketing campaigns, including promotional and point-of-sale concepts, in-store activations, and shopper communications such as customer magazines and coupons.
  • Evaluate shopper marketing initiatives using data from Nielsen, GFK, customer, and internal sources to formulate recommendations for future endeavors.
  • Develop B2B communications, including insight-driven trade arguments, annual sales presentations, sales brochures, and trade event organization, as well as trade press and public relations communications.
  • Actively participate in multifunctional brand and customer teams, contributing shopper marketing insights related to the relevant 7Ps in the business planning cycle.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and trusted partnership with customers alongside the sales team by delivering added value services.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Shopper Marketing Manager or similar marketing position.
  • A university degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • A proven history of solution-oriented and target-driven approaches to marketing initiatives.
  • A strong emphasis on customer, shopper, and consumer insights, utilizing data-driven strategies to foster growth and engagement.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented attitude, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
