About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Design Team Lead to join our Teamsport Footwear division at Puma SE. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the graphic design team, mentoring team members, and helping the team grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the graphic design team and mentor team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality designs that meet business objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Line Management, Brand Marketing, Development, and Merchandising, to drive creative direction and implement graphic designs that align with business unit goals.
- Develop and execute graphic designs that are both trend-driven and strategically aligned with business unit and consumer relevance.
- Collaborate with other design teams to drive stories and product messages that align with business unit goals.
- Act as an expert in graphics and share expertise with the team.
- Solve problems and develop innovative solutions through product creation.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in graphic design, ideally in the fashion, sportswear, or casual sports lifestyle industry.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and mentor others (at least 2 years of leadership experience).
- Proficiency and refinement in all stages of presentation, from concept to final design review.
- Broad knowledge of all aspects of product development from positioning to prototype making through to manufacturing.
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- A visionary and change mentality.
- Team player.
- Bachelor's Degree in Design and/or another relevant field of study.
