Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer to join our international design team at adidas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing market-right product graphics ranges for the adidas brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay at the forefront of design trends and innovation, applying your knowledge to create visually stunning and commercially successful products.
  • Own the creative process to ensure that final products meet commercial and image objectives, working closely with marketing and development teams.
  • Execute, lead, and drive defined projects creatively, delivering high-quality designs that meet brand standards.
  • Design graphics for international inline and account exclusives apparel, working in collaboration with the Design Director and marketing teams.
  • Ensure effective communication with product management and development teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Create 3D concept representations, 3D assets, and digital product information to support accurate development and decision-making processes.

Design Requirements:

  • Execute t-shirt graphic design that aligns with the adidas visual language and CI guidelines.
  • Translate business strategies into distinctive design languages to meet customer expectations.
  • Collect relevant information to create international t-shirt and apparel sports graphics, including trade publications, trade fairs, sport events, general interest press, trend services, fashion and sportswear magazines, store checks, market visits, and team travel.
  • Produce trend and travel reports for the design team and present findings to marketing teams.
  • Create graphic design concepts for product areas and defined projects.
  • Design graphics, including illustrations, typography, logo graphics, hand sketches, artworks, technical drawings, color concepts, and colorations, storyboards, and more.
  • Ensure proper handover of graphic artworks to the mechanical production department and development teams, providing all necessary information for the development process.
  • Act as the first point of contact for product management regarding product realization and collections.
  • Manage efficient processes and communication flows between design, marketing, and development teams for product-related issues.
  • Present graphics internally and support product launches with presentations.
  • Ensure sketches are loaded into the internal software catalogue.
  • Manage the graphics team, allocating workload, ensuring development, and coaching team members through the design process.
  • Utilize strong 3D skills and knowledge of virtual tools, including Clo3D, Browzwear, VStitcher, or similar 3D fashion design tools.

Requirements:

  • BA or MA in Graphic Design or comparable education.
  • Advanced computer skills on Apple Mac or PC, including Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, and Photo Shop.
  • Graphic knowledge and apparel product knowledge.
  • High level of creativity.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Graphic Design.
  • Fluent in English.
