Your Role
We are seeking a Commercial Management Trainee (f/m/d) to embark on an enriching 18-month trainee program. This program is designed to enhance your understanding of consumer behavior and equip you with the skills to foster the growth of our brands and business. You will assume responsibilities from day one, manage your own projects, and motivate others with your innovative ideas. Continuous feedback from seasoned colleagues and managers will guide you in becoming your best self.

Program Structure
Throughout the program, you will navigate through three distinct phases, with a pivotal five-month international assignment at its core.

Marketing Expertise Development
You will collaborate across various functions to develop, implement, and refine comprehensive consumer activation and advertising strategies across all key touchpoints, gaining in-depth knowledge of our brands.

Customer Development Skills
You will acquire a profound understanding of the retail landscape, learning how we position our products on the shelves of diverse retailers. This experience will provide insights into our negotiation processes and the execution of our marketing strategies in the marketplace.

Retail Marketing Insights
To deepen your understanding of Retail Marketing, you will participate in an assignment at another Colgate location. Here, you will assist in the planning, execution, and activation of new product launches and relaunches.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Recent completion of a Master's or Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant commercial experience through internships or student positions, preferably in a dynamic work environment
  • International exposure, such as study or internship abroad
  • Strong problem-solving and customer-oriented mindset, along with excellent analytical skills and an independent work ethic
  • A communicative, enthusiastic personality with a high degree of teamwork
  • Proficiency in English and German
