German Sales Development Representative – Google Solutions

At KAM, we are seeking a talented group of professionals to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview:

As a Sales Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to uncover significant sales prospects, understand potential clients' requirements, and drive new business through various outreach initiatives.

You will facilitate collaboration among businesses, accelerate their growth, and foster innovation. As part of the Sales Development team, you will serve as the initial point of contact for numerous businesses, actively engaging them to generate interest while identifying and qualifying their needs to recommend suitable solutions and guide them along the most effective Sales pathway.

Your efforts will contribute to both personal objectives and the broader team goal of expanding our client base across EMEA. You will operate in a telephonic environment, primarily interacting with clients through outbound calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet quarterly SQO (Sales Qualified Opportunity) targets and maintain a consistent level of daily and weekly activity.
  • Manage a designated portfolio of accounts to pinpoint high-potential prospects.
  • Inform clients about our offerings.
  • Conduct daily outbound calls and emails (including cold outreach), connect with C-level decision-makers, establish rapport quickly, and assess their needs.
  • Comprehend prospects' challenges, gather technical specifications, align business needs with available Cloud solutions (solution-selling), and create value for subsequent steps in the sales process.
  • Maintain and update prospect and customer information in the CRM database, managing leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, and activities.
  • Work towards both team and individual performance metrics such as productivity, conversion rates, opportunities, and pipeline.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and deal specifics to ensure clarity on the current and historical state of customer engagement for all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Native proficiency in German.
  • Fluent and idiomatic English communication skills.
  • Some experience in outbound sales, B2B sales, or business development, preferably within the IT sector.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly Google Cloud Platform solutions.
  • Aptitude for connecting business needs with appropriate solutions and strong business insight.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working towards assigned quotas in a phone-based setting.
  • General IT proficiency: essential computer skills for navigating a computer-based role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in IT outbound sales prospecting, demonstrating strong sales acumen and the ability to persuade and assess situations effectively.
  • Experience in cold calling and managing a substantial portfolio of accounts and contacts.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Able to identify key decision-makers and relevant stakeholders during business discussions.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is proactive, confident, competitive, and tenacious.
  • Understanding of the local market and business landscape.
