Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Plate Research and Development to join our Global Technology Organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing the designs of our plate heat exchangers based on computer simulations and thermodynamic expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize plate heat exchanger designs using computer simulations and thermodynamic expertise.
- Manage a team of innovators across multiple locations, including Sarstedt and Nobitz-Wilchwitz.
- Collaborate with R&I functions, product development, product line management, sales, and manufacturing to drive innovation and technical excellence.
Requirements
- University degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, physics, or process engineering.
- Several years of experience in the field, preferably with heat exchangers.
- Experience with relevant simulation software, CAD, and MS Office products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to think and solve problems analytically.
- Good command of German and English, with any other language being an asset.
