German Sales Development Representative – Google Solutions

At KAM, we are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Sales Development Representative.

Role Overview:

In this position, you will play a crucial role in identifying and cultivating valuable sales prospects, understanding their requirements, and driving new business through targeted outreach initiatives.

Your efforts will facilitate collaboration among businesses, enabling them to innovate and operate more efficiently. As a vital member of our Sales Development team, you will be the initial point of contact for numerous organizations, actively engaging them to generate interest while assessing their business needs to recommend suitable solutions and guide them through the sales process.

While you will focus on individual performance metrics, you will also contribute to a larger sales team aimed at expanding our client base across the EMEA region. This role is primarily phone-based, where you will connect with clients mainly through outbound calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet quarterly Sales Qualified Opportunity (SQO) targets and maintain a consistent level of daily and weekly activity.
  • Manage a designated portfolio of accounts to identify high-potential leads.
  • Educate clients about our offerings and solutions.
  • Conduct daily outbound calls and emails, often engaging in cold outreach, to connect with C-level decision-makers, build rapport, and evaluate their needs.
  • Identify clients' challenges, gather technical specifications, align business needs with available Cloud solutions, and create value for subsequent steps in the sales journey.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects and clients in our CRM system, managing leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, and activities effectively.
  • Work towards both team and individual objectives for key performance indicators, including productivity, conversion rates, opportunities, and pipeline management.
  • Thoroughly document client interactions and deal specifics to ensure transparency and accessibility of information for all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluent in German with excellent English communication skills.
  • Some experience in outbound sales, B2B sales, or business development, preferably within the IT sector.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, particularly Google Cloud Platform solutions.
  • Ability to connect business needs with appropriate solutions and demonstrate strong business insight.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working towards assigned quotas in a phone-based environment.
  • Proficient in essential IT skills necessary for navigating a computer-based role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in IT outbound sales prospecting, showcasing strong sales capabilities and situational awareness.
  • Experience in cold calling and effectively managing a diverse portfolio of accounts.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Adept at identifying key decision-makers and relevant stakeholders during business discussions.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, confident, competitive, and resilient.
  • Understanding of the local market and business landscape.
