About the Role

As the Vice President of Business Development (f/m/d) for our franchise system, you will play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing a new sales and development team. This team will focus on identifying, onboarding, and managing strategic partnerships while exploring innovative sales channels and business opportunities on a global scale. You will collaborate closely with our Executive team to formulate strategies, establish processes, and drive revenue growth in this dynamic sector. This position reports directly to our Co-Founder & CCO.

Your Daily Responsibilities
  • Team Building and Leadership: Recruit, train, and oversee a high-performing sales team dedicated to sourcing, onboarding, and managing strategic partnerships for our franchise system.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and foster relationships with potential franchisees, guiding them through a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Sales Channel Innovation: Investigate and establish new sales channels to enhance our market reach and penetration globally.
  • Market Development: Continuously evaluate market trends and competitive landscapes to uncover new business development opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Revenue Enhancement: Create and implement sales strategies aimed at meeting or exceeding revenue targets through strategic partnerships and new sales channels.
  • Sales Material Creation: Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to produce engaging sales presentations, materials, and proposals tailored to various sales channels and partnership opportunities.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential franchise markets, new sales channels, and emerging trends to inform sales strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, operations, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with product roadmaps, operational capabilities, and brand messaging.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, preferably within the franchise or food service sectors.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and forming strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to devise and execute sales strategies, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and emerging sales channels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders, potential franchisees, strategic partners, and industry contacts.
  • Proficient in data analysis, utilizing insights to drive decision-making and optimize sales performance.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, comfortable with ambiguity, and adept at quickly adjusting strategies based on market feedback.
