Key Responsibilities:

Financial Assessment and Negotiation: Work alongside cross-functional teams, including corporate M&A, legal, and operational units, to conduct financial evaluations, structure deals, and negotiate terms with target firms, striving for optimal results that align with company goals. Due Diligence Management: Oversee various due diligence processes with relevant internal teams, evaluating the operational, financial, and technological dimensions of potential acquisitions to ensure strategic alignment and risk mitigation. Transaction Oversight: Engage in the complete acquisition process, collaborating closely with M&A, legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure the efficient and timely execution of agreements and integration efforts. Demonstrated experience and success in business development and M&A or growth initiatives within the digital landscape, ideally in publishing, media, or e-commerce. A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Strong financial expertise with a background in financial modeling, valuation methods, and deal structuring. In-depth knowledge of digital business frameworks, emerging technologies, and market trends influencing the publishing sector. Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication capabilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects concurrently while adhering to tight deadlines. Extensive networking skills with a profound understanding of the publishing and commerce sectors in the UK and Germany. Capability to establish and nurture relationships across various countries. A confident, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude balanced with humility.
