Our diverse workforce, known as Invianers, collaborates across five countries: Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary. We operate several travel portals, including ab in den urlaub, among others.
Are you a seasoned software developer with a strong affinity for Go and e-commerce? We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer Go (m/f/d) to establish technical benchmarks and best practices for our Go-centric systems. You will collaborate with teams across various countries to devise innovative solutions and guide less experienced developers.

Your Responsibilities
  • Establishing standards and best practices for the Go programming language and ensuring their implementation across the organization.
  • Overseeing adherence to security protocols, coding standards, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Conducting code evaluations and offering constructive feedback to fellow developers.
  • Providing training and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers to enhance their proficiency in Go.
  • Actively engaging in resolving intricate technical challenges through programming and expert advice.
  • Collaborating with other teams to comprehend requirements and craft technical solutions that align with business goals.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of software development experience with a focus on Go.
  • In-depth knowledge of Go language specifications and experience in developing and maintaining sophisticated backend systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting coding standards, security protocols, and best practices for Go.
  • Exceptional skills in conducting code reviews and providing valuable feedback.
  • Experience in mentoring developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills and the capability to address complex technical issues.
  • A collaborative mindset and effective communication skills for working with diverse teams.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently, including in an agile setting.
