About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned software engineer with a strong foundation in Go and a keen interest in e-commerce. As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Go, you will be responsible for establishing technical benchmarks and best practices for our Go-centric systems. You will collaborate with cross-border teams to devise innovative solutions and mentor less experienced developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing and disseminating standards and best practices for the Go programming language across the organization.
- Overseeing adherence to security protocols, coding standards, and other relevant guidelines.
- Conducting thorough code reviews and offering constructive feedback to fellow developers.
- Providing training and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers to enhance their proficiency in Go.
- Engaging in resolving intricate technical challenges through programming and technical guidance.
- Collaborating with various teams to comprehend requirements and develop technical solutions aligned with business goals.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of software development experience with a focus on Go.
- In-depth knowledge of Go language specifications and experience in building and maintaining complex backend systems.
- Demonstrated experience in setting coding standards, security protocols, and best practices for Go.
- Strong capabilities in conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
