Head of Retail Expansion

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our retail expansion efforts in the Nordic region. As Head of Retail Expansion, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive expansion strategy that drives growth and revenue for KoRo Handels GmbH.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a holistic expansion strategy for the Nordic countries, including market analysis, competitor research, and customer insights.
- Lead a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail.
- Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team and Vertical Lead to develop and implement the overall offline retail strategy.
- Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships domestically and internationally.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with retail partners to build long-term and successful collaborations.
- Monitor and control the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation.
- Provide regular reporting to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, or expansion in the FMCG or food sector, with market-specific knowledge of the Nordic countries.
- Degree in business administration, management, finance, or law from a top university.
- Excellent English language skills, with relevant additional language skills.
- Experience in leading and developing teams, especially in fast-growing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct market analyses and develop strategic recommendations.
- Confident presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all hierarchical levels.
- Strong negotiating skills, with a commitment to building long-term and successful collaborations.
- Proactive and goal-oriented approach, with the ability to work under pressure and successfully implement complex projects.
