Lead Manager for Nature-Based Initiatives

Our dedicated team of over 55 professionals across ten countries collaborates with global partners to foster thriving forests and ecosystems that benefit our climate, biodiversity, and human well-being.
To further our mission of advancing climate protection, we are seeking a Senior Manager for Nature-Based Solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting customized proposals for international organizations, donors, and corporations. You will engage in the monitoring and execution of field operations within a multidisciplinary setting that demands high levels of commitment and expertise.
Your Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Oversee, guide, and manage team resources effectively.
- Deadline Management: Ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Consortium Development: Establish international partnerships to pursue tenders.
- Proposal Coordination: Draft and coordinate consultancy proposals for corporate and national/international funding agencies.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations and support recruitment efforts.
- Reporting: This position will report directly to the Management Team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical departments to enhance project proposals and provide technical insights.
- Market Intelligence: Gather insights on international cooperation and trends in the Nature-Based Solutions sector.
- Strategic Participation: Actively contribute to business strategies aimed at delivering top-quality results.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in economics, resource management, forestry, agriculture, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in securing tenders from organizations such as GIZ, World Bank, Green Climate Fund, or other national/international donors with project values exceeding 2 million USD.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in leading international teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or French is advantageous, with additional languages being a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience in Latin America, Africa, or Southeast Asia is a plus.
