Lead Manager for Nature-Based Initiatives

With a dedicated team of over 55 professionals across ten countries, we are committed to fostering healthy forests and ecosystems that enhance climate resilience, biodiversity, and human welfare.
To advance our mission of climate protection, we are seeking a Senior Manager for Nature-Based Solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting customized proposals for international organizations, donors, and corporations. You will also engage in the oversight and execution of field operations within a multidisciplinary setting that demands high levels of expertise and dedication.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate team resources effectively.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Establish international partnerships to pursue competitive tenders.
- Lead the preparation and writing of consultancy proposals for corporate and governmental donors.
- Conduct performance evaluations and assist in recruitment processes.
- Report directly to the Management Team.
- Collaborate closely with technical departments to enhance project proposals and provide expert feedback.
- Research and analyze trends in international cooperation and the nature-based solutions sector.
- Actively contribute to business strategies aimed at delivering exceptional quality.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in economics, resource management, forestry, agriculture, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in securing tenders from GIZ, World Bank, Green Climate Fund, or other significant national and international donors, with project values exceeding 2 million USD.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in leading international teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or French is advantageous, with additional languages being a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience in Latin America, Africa, or Southeast Asia is a plus.
