Lead Manager for Nature-Based Initiatives

To advance our mission of championing climate protection, we are seeking a Senior Manager for Nature-Based Solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate with our team to craft customized proposals for international organizations, donors, and corporations. You will also engage in the oversight and execution of field operations within a multidisciplinary context that demands high levels of dedication and expertise.
Your Responsibilities
- Leadership: Oversee, guide, and manage team resources effectively.
- Deadline Management: Ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Consortium Development: Establish international partnerships to respond to tenders.
- Proposal Coordination: Lead the drafting of consultancy proposals for corporate and governmental donors/agencies.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations and support recruitment efforts.
- Reporting: Directly report to the Management Team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical departments to enhance project proposals and provide expert feedback.
- Market Intelligence: Gather insights on international cooperation and trends in the Nature-Based Solutions sector.
- Strategic Participation: Actively contribute to business strategies aimed at delivering top-quality outcomes.
Your Qualifications
- Advanced degree in economics, resource management, forestry, agriculture, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in securing tenders from GIZ, World Bank, Green Climate Fund, or other significant national and international donors, with project values exceeding 2 million USD.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in leading international teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or French is advantageous, and additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience in Latin America, Africa, or Southeast Asia is beneficial.
