Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled engineer specializing in wind turbines (m/f/d) to oversee the technical planning and execution of offshore wind projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in the development, planning, and execution of offshore wind initiatives (both national and international).
  • Act as the technical work package manager for wind turbines, overseeing contract negotiations through to the execution of supply contracts and handover to operational teams.
  • Manage scheduling, budget oversight, and interdisciplinary coordination among team members.
  • Ensure alignment of work package schedules with the overall project timeline.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations (HSE) throughout all project phases.
  • Implement technical due diligence processes for offshore wind projects.
  • Identify and manage technical risks, issues, and project impacts.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to approval and certification standards (both national and international).
  • Support the compliance of technical documentation with contractual obligations.
  • Oversee execution work, including installations and commissioning offshore, and manage acceptance processes as needed.
  • Participate in industry-specific working groups and research initiatives.
Candidate Profile
  • A degree in electrical engineering, wind energy technology, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally in a project management role within infrastructure or energy sectors, with a focus on offshore wind turbine supply contracts.
  • Strong technical knowledge of large electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Professional demeanor characterized by politeness and competence.
  • Familiarity with current industry standards and market knowledge.
  • A structured, reliable approach to work with a focus on process-oriented thinking.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, and to work offshore as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
  • A valid driver's license (B or class 3) is required.
