Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled engineer specializing in wind turbines (m/f/d) to oversee the technical planning and execution of offshore wind initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in the development, planning, and execution of offshore wind projects on both national and international scales.
- Act as the technical work package manager for wind turbines, guiding the process from contract negotiations through to the execution of supply contracts and handover to operational teams.
- Oversee scheduling, budget management, and interdisciplinary coordination within the project team.
- Ensure alignment of the work package schedule with the overall project timeline.
- Uphold health and safety regulations (HSE) throughout all project phases.
- Implement technical due diligence processes for offshore wind projects.
- Identify and manage technical risks, issues, and project impacts.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications and processes.
- Ensure compliance with national and international approval and certification standards.
- Support the verification of technical documentation for contractual adherence.
- Participate in the execution of installation and commissioning activities offshore, as required.
- Contribute to industry-specific working groups and research initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in electrical engineering, wind energy technology, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a project management role within infrastructure or energy sectors, with a focus on offshore wind turbine supply contracts.
- Strong technical expertise in large electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Professional demeanor characterized by politeness and competence.
- Familiarity with current industry standards and market trends.
- A reliable, structured work ethic with a process-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including offshore work if necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
- A valid driver's license (B or class 3).
