We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Engineer to join our team at Omexom Renewable Energies Offshore GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical planning and implementation of offshore wind projects.
Your Responsibilities:- Participate in the development, planning, and implementation of offshore wind projects
- Manage technical work packages, including contract negotiations and execution of wind turbine supply contracts
- Schedule and budget control, as well as interdisciplinary coordination of the team
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (HSE) throughout the project
- Implement technical due diligence processes for offshore wind projects
- Participate in the identification and management of technical risks, issues, and impacts
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, processes, and concepts
- Ensure compliance with approval and certification requirements
- Assist in ensuring contractual conformity of technical documentation
- Accompany execution work, including installations and commissioning offshore, and implement acceptances as necessary
- Participate in industry-specific working groups and research projects
- Hold a degree in electrical engineering, wind energy technology, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable training
- Have at least 3 years of experience, preferably in a responsible project management position in infrastructure or energy projects
- Have a profound technical knowledge of large electrical/mechanical systems
- Be a team player with strong communication and organizational skills
- Have a confident, polite, and professionally competent demeanor
- Be familiar with the state of the art and have knowledge of the market
- Be characterized by a reliable, structured way of working and process-oriented thinking
- Be willing to travel and work offshore as required
- Have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Hold a valid car driving license
