Job Title: Wind Turbine Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Engineer to join our team at Omexom Renewable Energies Offshore GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical planning and implementation of offshore wind projects.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development, planning, and implementation of offshore wind projects
  • Manage technical work packages, including contract negotiations and execution of wind turbine supply contracts
  • Schedule and budget control, as well as interdisciplinary coordination of the team
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (HSE) throughout the project
  • Implement technical due diligence processes for offshore wind projects
  • Participate in the identification and management of technical risks, issues, and impacts
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, processes, and concepts
  • Ensure compliance with approval and certification requirements
  • Assist in ensuring contractual conformity of technical documentation
  • Accompany execution work, including installations and commissioning offshore, and implement acceptances as necessary
  • Participate in industry-specific working groups and research projects
Your Profile:
  • Hold a degree in electrical engineering, wind energy technology, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable training
  • Have at least 3 years of experience, preferably in a responsible project management position in infrastructure or energy projects
  • Have a profound technical knowledge of large electrical/mechanical systems
  • Be a team player with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Have a confident, polite, and professionally competent demeanor
  • Be familiar with the state of the art and have knowledge of the market
  • Be characterized by a reliable, structured way of working and process-oriented thinking
  • Be willing to travel and work offshore as required
  • Have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Hold a valid car driving license
