Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our offshore wind project team, you will be responsible for the technical planning and implementation of offshore wind projects.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the development, planning, and implementation of offshore wind projects, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.
- Manage technical work packages, including contract negotiations, execution of wind turbine supply contracts, and handover to the operating party.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely and budget-friendly project execution.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement technical due diligence processes for offshore wind projects.
- Identify and manage technical risks, issues, and impacts, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, processes, and concepts.
- Ensure compliance with approval and certification requirements, both nationally and internationally.
- Assist in ensuring contractual conformity of technical documentation.
- Support the execution of work packages, including installations and commissioning offshore, and implementation of acceptances, as necessary.
- Participate in industry-specific working groups and research projects.
- Hold a degree in electrical engineering, wind energy technology, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a responsible project management position, preferably in infrastructure or energy projects, with experience in supply contracts for offshore wind turbines.
- Possess a deep understanding of large electrical and mechanical systems.
- Exhibit strong team player mentality, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Display a confident, polite, and professionally competent demeanor.
- Be familiar with the state of the art and possess knowledge of the market.
- Be characterized by a reliable, structured approach to work and process-oriented thinking.
- Be willing to travel domestically and internationally, and work offshore, if required.
- Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Hold a valid car driving license (B or class 3).
