Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Automotive Account Executive to join our automotive field application team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of how our analog products are utilized within the automotive industry. You will engage with leading automotive suppliers, showcasing our advanced capabilities, developing system solutions, and facilitating workshops and training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement strategies to enhance NXP's sales and profitability within a major automotive account, focusing on the strategic growth area of Electrification.
- Identify and pursue new customer projects, propose tailored technical solutions leveraging NXP's products and services, and manage negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive product proposals for complete systems, ensuring optimal support through close collaboration with NXP's sales and engineering teams, as well as effective communication with relevant business lines.
- Lead the definition of new products in collaboration with customers and NXP's business lines to secure long-term success in this critical market segment.
- Oversee project execution, monitoring key milestones throughout all development phases.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the customer's business strategy, identifying opportunities and challenges both in the short and long term.
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships within the account at all management levels.
- Delegate and coordinate logistics and quality issues effectively with the appropriate teams within NXP.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential.
- Proven knowledge of electronic and semiconductor products within the automotive sector is required.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in semiconductor marketing or sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Electrification market is advantageous.
- Strong customer and business orientation, along with flexibility, motivation, and networking skills, are crucial for success in this role.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to business partners.
- Analytical skills to discern key customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- A high level of adaptability, motivation, and customer focus is necessary.
- A proven track record of success in a competitive business environment is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills in both German and English are required.
- Willingness to travel, primarily within the region but also internationally.
- A collaborative mindset, thriving in a global and multicultural environment.
