About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at ISS. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, ensuring their IT needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues using established procedures and checklists.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of technical information to customers, ensuring they understand the solutions and next steps.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members or external vendors as necessary.
  • Identify and report recurring issues and trends to management, recommending process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve support processes and customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and practices, with certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products and services, with experience in JIRA and Confluence a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer issues simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English and German, with additional languages a plus.
