We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at ISS. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, ensuring their IT needs are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues using established procedures and checklists.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of technical information to customers, ensuring they understand the solutions and next steps.
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members or external vendors as necessary.
- Identify and report recurring issues and trends to management, recommending process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve support processes and customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and practices, with certification a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products and services, with experience in JIRA and Confluence a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer issues simultaneously.
- Fluency in English and German, with additional languages a plus.
