**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute advanced technology projects leveraging government funding with internal and external stakeholders.
- Encourage technology realization programs utilizing our internal project execution processes.
- Support technology roadmaps and strategies for the European region, as well as develop relationships with Eaton stakeholders (engineering, product lines, government programs).
- The position will report to the VP Engineering Technology EMEA and functionally to the Global Technology Manager.
**Requirements**
- PhD or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- R&D experience in distributed energy resource (DER) integration and management, microgrid, power distribution systems modeling, analysis, monitoring, and control, protection, EV charging infrastructure, and its grid integration.
- Experience in developing and executing EU and German government-funded projects to advance research and product development in power and energy systems is highly welcome.
- Experience in managing lab/experimental infrastructure, including both power and control hardware in the loop testing facilities.
- Program management - new product development innovation process.
- Communication and presentation skills in English and German (oral and written).
